Welcome to the B.A.R.S. Web Site Who We Are — The Brighton Area Road Striders (BARS) are an active group runners who live and run around Brighton, MI and surrounding areas. Members have a strong showing at local races and have participated in marathons, triathlons, ultras, trail runs and relays. We run trails and roads, so come on out! Click Here To Find Us — Right now we're meeting Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Brighton High School Performing Arts Center parking lot (west end). If it’s cold or rainy outside, then look for us inside the pool entrance doors where we meet before the outdoor run. We go to a local restaurant afterwards for carbo and liquid replenishment. Runners of all abilities are welcome! Our members run variety of paces and we also have maps of our routes that are available for you to take on the run. Don’t be shy – come join us!
