Joining the Brighton Area Road Striders was the introduction to Steve’s involvement into running community. Since joining within the past five years, he has participated in all types of races including Half and Full Marathons. Steve has become involved with the operations of the Detroit Turkey Trot and Corktown race, so he is always there to encourage BARS members to give it the extra kick during the race. While trying to be competitive, Steve also places a high importance on the enjoyment and social aspect a running club can provide. He always looks for new members and encourages the participation of beginning runners and walkers in groups.
