Wednesday,
March 3: For
this date, we will be meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Green Oaks Mall
after the run. BW’s will be donating 20%
of each bill to the Brighton Eels Swim Team.
Saturday,
March 13: SET
YOUR CLOCKS FOWARD 1 HOUR BEFORE YOU GO TO BED TONIGHT because daylight savings
time begins tomorrow!
Sunday, March
14 (DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS): Once
again, people will be running out at Brighton Rec
(Bishop Lake). Most people will be doing
their long runs… everyone does their own thing, so you can come run whatever
you want: trails, paved trail, roads.
Saturday,
March 20: Join
us on the first day of spring for a great 5-mile trail race at Huron Meadows Metropark. Please
visit the race website for
all the information you need. Race
starts at 10:00am; however volunteers working the race will need to arrive
earlier. If you want to volunteer, get
in touch with us. Remember that a Metropark vehicle permit will be needed for this
event. If you don’t have a 2010 sticker
you can buy a day pass for $5.
Saturday,
March 27: Our
banquet is planned to be at the South Lyon Hotel this year. For details, click here. Hope you can make it… this is a great event
with good food, and this year we will have live music!
