Welcome To The B.A.R.S. Web Site

Who We Are — The Brighton Area Road Striders (BARS) have 82 members, most of them from SE Michigan. Members have a strong showing at local races and have participated in marathons, triathlons, ultras, trail runs and relays. We run trails and roads, so come on out!

Click Here To Find Us — Right now we're meeting Wednesdays at 6:30pm inside the Brighton High Pool Entrance. If it’s warm outside, then look for us in the west end of the BHS Performing Arts Center lot.

We go to a local restaurant afterwards for carbo and liquid replenishment. Runners of all abilities are welcome! Our members run variety of paces and we also have maps of our routes that are available for you to take on the run. Don’t be shy – come join us!
